During our Christmas break, we were asked to make a pop-up card, either a Christmas/thank you letter for our dearest recipient. Most of us made the card for our parents, presumably all of us. My experiences in doing it was great and fun. What I've done first was to search an idea in the internet, and I saw many samples that were just easy and simple to do it. Actually I did this 2 days before our class resumed so I was cramming a bit. Before I made my pop-up card, I rummaged my bags, drawers, cabinets and everywhere to look for some creative stuffs then I started doing it. At first, the output was too dull, then I made another one again, then it turned out to be like this.
My card doesn't seems so pretty tho, but I exerted enough effort to it. As you can see, the flower that popped up, I use some neon colored papers in doing it. It was a bit fail, so I feel somehow sorry to my parents. The 4th picture below, what I did is just printed some clip-arts and cut it out, so I find it cute somehow. In the third picture I made a small hanging message board that says "you got a message", then I made my own envelope where I place the letter to my parents and put laces on it and tied into a ribbon. The last picture was the outside design of the card, I just placed a fake flower on it. Finally, the first picture is already the letter and I just printed it.
After the finishing touch, I felt a quick relief with a big sigh. Then THANK GOD!

(I decided to make a thank you card since I don't really express my gratitude towards my parents by acting it out. So I was thankful that we were asked to do this.)
