Our group made 4 recycled products and here they are:
Actually, our job was divided in to two groups. And I worked with the flower vases and necklaces.
As you can see, the first photo is called a birdie bank. You can save your money by just inserting your coins or even bills on the hole at the top of it. It's made of illustration board and I painted it with red and orange. And the bird! It's wings are made up of Popsicle sticks and the head was built up of carton with its googly eyes.
On the second photo are the necklaces which are made up of bottle caps from the soft drink bottles that we used to make flower vases. I just inserted some beads that were from Giro's old stuffs in the nylon string then glued them below the caps.
Then we made the flower vases. First we mached them with recycled bond papers and after a while we waited until it dried then painted the the whole two bottles with white and the other one was black. My work was on the middle of the third photo then Gabs continued it by painting it with dark blue on its body. It was just simple to do it but never did I notice, we finished them the whole afternoon. It was a bit exhausting but I guess it's still worth it.
And just for a small addition to our product, my group mates made a bracelet which we also inserted some small beads and some shells in the nylon string. And this was the simplest product that we did.
After doing all these products, of course, we felt a huge relief. As in thank God! Natapos na ang lahat :) I so much appreciated our work though it doesn't seems nice for some. And I really felt I saved our Mother Nature wala sa oras.
